They're some updates as to what is the program like for the choir workshop from 16-18 June 2008. E-mails were sent out to all choir members and a file was attached to it as well. In case you have not read it, some of the information is below. However, please do check your e-mail as there are some important details as well.
Bring a pen or pencil.
Check and bring all the necessary clothes you need. Be properly attired and wear proper shoes for the games.
Bring enough money for lunch.
Attendance for all 3 days of the workshop is very important. The instructors we get for hip hop and the facial and body expression will be paid by the school. If you cannot make it for any of the 3 days, eg. prefects cannot make it on Day 3, let Mrs Yong, Mrs Tan or Mrs Leong know.
Objectives Choir members to :
develop strong bond with all members
develop sense of camaraderie and to work as a team
use facial and body expression during singing
learn what to do before a competition or performance
Sectional leaders to :
learn how to lead their sections
develop ability to detect and correct mistakes in singing
In order that the 3-day workshop is beneficial and fruitful, every member of the choir must participate in all the activities enthusiastically and attentively.
Points to take note of:
As the choir orange polo-T is to be worn for both days, it is advisable to change into a clean PE T-shirt before going home at the end of Day 1.
Have breakfast before coming to school everyday.
Lunch will be on your own expense.
Biscuits will be provided during the breaks.
Bring water bottles and remember to fill with water during all breaks.
